DESCRIPTION:The Wake Forest Police Department (WFPD) and Wake Forest Fire Department (WFFD) are partnering to host “Public Safety Day” on Friday\, April 24\, from 2-7 p.m. at Ashcroft Ace Hardware\, 12225 Capital Blvd. \nFree and open to everyone\, this family-friendly event will feature fire and police vehicle displays and demonstrations\, including the WFPD’s SWAT vehicle and drone\, the WFFD’s inflatable smoke house\, and a variety of booths highlighting fire and crime prevention and safety. \nWake Forest Police officers will also be on hand distributing information about Neighborhood Watch\, Special Olympics\, and more. \nFor more information about Public Safety Day\, contact Sgt.
