SUMMARY:Board of Commissioners Work Session
DESCRIPTION:The Wake Forest Board of Commissioners Work Session is scheduled for Tuesday\, June 2\, 2026 at 6:00 PM at Wake Forest Town Hall. Work sessions are informal\, workshop-style meetings where commissioners review policy items\, hear staff presentations\, and discuss issues before they come to a formal vote. \nWhile Wake Forest Board of Commissioners work sessions typically do not include public comment periods\, they are open to the public for observation. Attending or following work sessions is one of the best ways for Wake Forest residents to understand where the town is headed before decisions are finalized. \nWhy Board of Commissioners Work Sessions Matter\nMuch of the real deliberation in Wake Forest town government happens at work sessions — not just at formal board meetings. Commissioners discuss budget priorities\, development proposals\, infrastructure needs\, and policy directions in a more open format. Wake Forest Matters has covered these sessions in depth\, including reporting on whether residents are subsidizing growth and tracking the $532 million infrastructure gap facing the town. \nFollow our Town Government section for meeting recaps\, previews\, and analysis. Full agendas are typically posted on the Town of Wake Forest website. Check the Wake Forest Matters Events Calendar for other upcoming government meetings.
