Wake Forest will host a Memorial Flag Raising Ceremony on Monday, June 1, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wake Forest Town Hall Centennial Plaza. This solemn and meaningful event honors the men and women who have served and sacrificed in defense of the United States.

The Memorial Flag Raising Ceremony is a community moment of reflection and gratitude. Residents, veterans, families, and officials gather at the Town Hall Centennial Plaza — one of downtown Wake Forest’s most prominent civic spaces — to raise the flag and pay tribute to those who served.
