Wake Forest Matters is an independent, nonpartisan local news publication delivering Wake Forest NC news. We cover town government, public meetings, schools, development, public safety, business, and the people and issues that shape our community.
Our Mission
Local news. Real accountability. Wake Forest Matters exists because residents deserve to know what their local government is doing and why it matters. As a result, we rely on public records, data, direct reporting, and tips from the community to inform our coverage. We never wait for permission to ask tough questions.
