The Convenience Center System
Franklin County operates 12 residential convenience centers plus one permitted transfer station. There is no county-wide curbside pickup for unincorporated residents.

- Daylight Saving Time (spring/summer): 7 AM–7 PM
- Standard Time (fall/winter): 7 AM–6 PM
- Open days: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat
- Site #12 (Franklinton, 5 Landfill Road): open Thursdays instead

- Household trash
- Recyclables (paper, cardboard, plastics, metal cans, glass — see franklincountync.gov/468 for details)
- Lead-acid batteries (all sites)
- Used motor oil and oil filters (11 of 12 sites — Lake Royale site excluded)

Town Residents
Residents inside Louisburg, Franklinton, Youngsville, and Bunn town limits receive town-provided trash pickup. Check your town’s official site for pickup days and rates.
