Farmers’ Market

2 min read

The Wake Forest Farmers’ Market opens on Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A cornerstone of the Wake Forest community, the weekly market connects residents with local farmers, makers, and vendors from across the region.

Whether you’re a longtime local or a newer resident, the Saturday Farmers’ Market is one of the best ways to experience what makes Wake Forest tick. The community atmosphere, fresh herbs and baked goods, and chance encounters with neighbors make it more than just a shopping trip — it’s a community touchpoint.

Vendors and What to Bring to the Wake Forest Farmers’ Market

Shoppers can expect seasonal produce, artisan foods, handmade crafts, and specialty items from local small businesses. Bring a reusable bag, some cash, and your appetite. The market is free to enter. Leashed dogs are welcome at most vendor areas.

The June 6 Farmers’ Market coincides with other exciting events in town — including the 4th Annual Cars and Carnivores Street Festival, making it a great full day in Wake Forest. Check the Wake Forest Matters Events Calendar for the complete lineup and our community section for deeper coverage of life in Wake Forest.
