Join us for the Wake Forest Day of Prayer 2026 on Thursday, May 7th. This annual community event is a chance to gather in faith and lift up our neighbors, schools, hospitals, first responders, and local leaders in prayer. Also, it is completely free and open to everyone.
7:00 AM — Wake Forest Day of Prayer Breakfast at SEBTS
First, the morning begins with a Prayer Breakfast at the Ledford Student Center, on the campus of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS), 113 N Wingate St, Wake Forest, NC 27587. However, registration is required in advance. You can register online at SEBTS.edu before the event. The breakfast is a time for fellowship, reflection, and prayer over a morning meal. Plan to arrive a few minutes early to find your seat and connect with fellow community members.
12:00 Noon — Community Gathering at Town Hall
Next, at noon, the community gathers at the Flagpole in front of Wake Forest Town Hall, 301 S Brooks St, Wake Forest, NC 27587. Additionally, no registration is needed for this portion of the event. You are welcome to attend either the morning breakfast, the noon gathering, or both. The noon gathering is an outdoor, public prayer service open to all residents and visitors. Together, participants pray for the unity, safety, and well-being of our community and beyond.
Everyone Is Welcome
The Wake Forest National Day of Prayer 2026 is free and open to all. Furthermore, it is a non-denominational event that welcomes people of all backgrounds and faiths. Finally, come ready to connect with neighbors, share in community spirit, and celebrate the power of prayer in our town. No prior registration is needed for the noon gathering — just show up and join in.
