Letters to the Editor

Wake Forest letters to the editor are a valued part of our community journalism. Wake Forest Matters welcomes letters from residents on topics related to Wake Forest and the issues covered in our publication.

Submission Guidelines

  • Length: 400 words maximum. We may edit for length and clarity.
  • Real names required: We do not publish anonymous letters. We verify the identity of all submitters.
  • One letter per person per 30 days.
  • No personal attacks on private individuals. Criticism of public officials and their actions is welcome.
  • Disclosure: If you have a financial or professional interest in the topic you’re writing about, disclose it. We will publish the disclosure.
  • No campaign letters within 30 days of an election for candidates you are formally affiliated with.

How to Submit

Email your letter to letters@wakeforestmatters.com with your full name, town of residence, and a phone number for verification. We do not publish phone numbers.
