WAKE FOREST, NC – The Wake Forest Police Department (WFPD) and Wake Forest Fire Department (WFFD) are partnering to host “Public Safety Day” on Friday, April 24, from 2-7 p.m. at Ashcroft Ace Hardware, 12225 Capital Blvd.
Free and open to everyone, this family-friendly event will feature fire and police vehicle displays and demonstrations, including the WFPD’s SWAT vehicle and drone, the WFFD’s inflatable smoke house, and a variety of booths highlighting fire and crime prevention and safety.
Wake Forest Police officers will also be on hand distributing information about Neighborhood Watch, Special Olympics, and more.
